The Quest For Chocolate

Okay, our first ride of 2009, and it is already March 7th. By this time last year, we had over 130 miles in.

We rode over to Rehoboth Beach. We started down the Breakwater Trail in Lewes and the sign said it was closed. We proceeded past the barricades and started down the trail. We didn't make it far when we saw large construction equipment on the path. We climbed past them and continued on. After encountering large puddles, inches of snow and lots of mud, we made it to Rehoboth. We rode into town and discovered a large line getting into the Chocolate Festival. We waited for about an hour to get in. Someone forget to tell the lady handing out the "turtle" cheesecake that it was only suppose to be a sample. We had a plateful and ended up getting full with many sample tickets left. We forced ourselves to use all the coupons.

It was a tough ride home.
